Previously adidas Originals celebrated their brand heritage by focusing on the past and the present, however, for their SS16 campaign, they added a new element to their brand story, the future. The brand decided to challenge users to create their own futures by challenging the collective memory and dystopian world views of what is to come.
Designed 6 Instagram grid series for the launch of the SS16 campaign film for the adidas Originals global Instagram feed @adidasoriginals and local markets.
Assisted in art and creative direction of the featured cinemagraphs.
This grid series design was continued throughout the launch of the Tubular and NMD sneaker with the cooperation of influencers such as Kyu Steed, Aleali May, Reese Cooper, Design Butler and Luka Sabbat.
Primarily launched on Instagram and supported on Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook.
